H&R Lowering Springs & Coil Over

H&R Racing SpringsH&R Racing Springs
Our springs feature many exclusive H&R manufacturing processes such as SUPER-BLOK.  This is a precise spring setting process that guarantees the springs are completely set and will not sag.  H&R springs are manufactured on a tight schedule, which guarantees that our springs maintain their resilience, strength and integrity.  H&R Racing Springs

H&R Racing Springs

In manufacturing, after the springs are cold wound on a precision Wafios CNC spring coiler, they must be annealed or re-heat treated.  This heat treating is very important since the spring is wound from one ton ring of heat treated special wire stock and then formed into a small coil spring.  The winding process creates heat and stress pikes between the molecules of the wire.  The stressed spiked then must be realigned to the wire's new form.  H&R springs are placed in the tempering furnace immediately.  If more than two hours pass prior to this secondary heat treatment, the springs lose their resilience.
