Step 1: Assembly
the adapters and slide the adapters in the rack. Please
note that the adapter turning knob should be facing outward,
and the adapter's screw holes must be facing down.
Step 2: Assembly
the front, middle and the rear section of the rack.
Step 3:
Carefully remove the aluminum strip.
Caution: Do not lose the plastic clips, it is
needed
to hold the aluminum strip in place (later in Step 6).
Step 4: Place the
metal brackets in the existing stud along with washers and
bolts.
Caution: Do not tighten the
brackets at this point.
Step 5: Mark and
cut the aluminum strips.
Note: Exact measurement will NOT
be require since the small gap will be cover up by the plastic
brackets.
Step 6: Put the
aluminum strips back in place along with plastic clip.
Step 7: Place the
plastic brackets on top of the strips as shown in the illustration.
Step 8: Slide the
rubber strip in the middle bar.
Note: The long bar goes to the front and the short bar goes to
the rear.
Step 9: Secure both
middle bars in place. Note:
the rubber strip is facing upward.
Align the roof rack and secure metal bracket. Lastly secure
the roof rack with screws and washers.
